This sockpuppet has recently been helping Purger to avoid 3RR (see below).

Here is clear proof of sockpuppetry, dating from the time when Purger obviously did not yet intend to use his IP as a sockpuppet: Purger signs the post of his sockpuppet, sockpuppet says "I am Purger" - he obviously forgot to log in.

And here is fresh proof that he intentionally used sockpuppetry: the sockpuppet denies that he is Purger

Purger and his sockpuppet used revert tagging to avoid the 3RR rule on several occasions. The pattern shows that Purger did not want either of his aliases to make more than two reverts:

User:Purger has a history of using sock-puppets to avoid breaking WP:3RR and two of his sock-puppets are already blocked for infinity:

Few more details that checkuser operator might find usefull (please, ignore if unimportant):

• 64.18.16.251 deleting Purger's talk page, than admin reverts the blanking, and Purger blank it himself.
• 4.18.16.251 writing personal information of user User:Romaine, whick can be understoood as talk page vandalism, sock-puppetry or meat-puppetry, pick one.
• 4.249.126.210 claiming that he is not "Purger"

Confirmed. Purger (talk • contribs • block user • block log • checkuser) is 64.18.16.251 (talk • contribs • WHOIS • block user • block log • checkip). He also appears to be Romaine (talk • contribs • block user • block log • checkuser) and Oesterling (talk • contribs • block user • block log • checkuser). In addition to 64.18.16.251, he's using a lot of 4.x.x.x addresses registered to Level 3 Comminications. Purrger and Purqer are too old to check. Essjay (Talk • Connect) 04:09, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
