Last night, I had the dishonor to be part of a content dispute at Pluto that escalated into Nixer filing a 3RR report and a complaint against the closing admin's actions at WP:ANI. During this time period, a WOW sock/impersonator attacked the article, and in the process of doing that, the Verger first reverted back to Nixer's last version and then reverted the page move. Based on the time frame, I am only a little suspicious of the actions of the second user, and I seriously doubt that it was a failed attempt to revert the page move by reverting the edit history. - Also, based on a similar action by Nixer at Mercury (planet) where he reverted to his version prior to the WOW attack which I had originally reverted, I further believe that Verger is in some way related to Nixer. Ryūlóng 18:59, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
- Verger's few edits also seem to be in the same areas as Nixer. JoshuaZ 19:28, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
- I do not know why, but I just have a feeling that one of the three attack accounts might be Nixer who was blocked for disruption and 3RR. Ryūlóng 22:15, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
Clerk note: All except Verger and Nixer blocked indef. The edits do bare resemblance, and could have been used to game 3RR. Note that Nixer has an extensive block history for 3RR. The account creation times are also suspicious.Voice-of-All 01:58, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
- As to block history I think you mean Nixer. JoshuaZ 02:12, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
Confirmed Verger and Nixer are the same user. Mackensen (talk) 13:51, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
- No confirmation on the impersonators? I have a feeling that they might be AOL IPs, and that I know who might be behind them. Ryūlóng 22:28, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
