[edit] Kiyosaki

I believe User:Kiyosaki may be a reincarnation of a banned editor nicknamed the Disruptive Apartheid Editor. He's an old-style anti-Semite who has posted with a variety of accounts and from several IP addresses resolving to Illinois, usually Chicago. He has posted unambiguously anti-Semitic content, such as edit summaries saying "Jayjg is a filthy Jew, unclean." [1]. More examples at User:Jayjg/DAE. Kiyosaki turned up at Allegations of Israeli apartheid just over a month ago, starting as User:Kyosaki (without the i), and has been editing very disruptively. Recently he started using certain stock phrases the Disruptive Apartheid Editor has used, including "rv Hebrew POV" [2] and posting on Jimbo's page that Jayjg and SlimVirgin are "Jewish editors that are liars." [3]

If this is considered a valid request, my query is whether the technical evidence is consistent with Kiyosaki editing out of Illinois, particularly Chicago or thereabouts. SlimVirgin (talk) 00:13, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

Clerk note: Forgive me for being obtuse, but Jayjg has checkuser access. Can't he look it up? Also, it would be better to have a user name or IP addresses with recent edits (say around a month or less) to compare against, otherwise all checkuser can do is give you a general geographic location and ISP name. I didn't ask Jay because we're the ones the DAE used to attack the most, so I was hoping someone else could do it. I'll e-mail Jay to draw his attention to this and he can decide whether he should do it. I can't give an IP address because Kiyosaki doesn't appear to have edited logged out, but if it's the same area as the DAE, I think that might be enough given all the other similarities. The DAE's known IP addresses are at User:Jayjg/DAE e.g. range 69.209.192.0/19. SlimVirgin (talk) 03:01, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
  • Confirmed that this is the Disruptive Apartheid Editor, and it's stronger than just "editing out of Illinois". There are some other "tells" as well. I've e-mailed the Arbitration Commitee list about this with more details, so if any members wish to weigh in further, I'm sure they will. Jayjg (talk) 03:25, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
Okay, thank you. I'm assuming that "stronger than just 'editing out of Illinois'" means there's technical evidence linking Kiyosaki more directly to the DAE. I'm going to go ahead and block, because in addition the non-technical evidence is very strong. Let me know if you think I shouldn't do that for any reason. SlimVirgin (talk) 03:31, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

Confirmed The technical evidence is strong. The Uninvited Co., Inc. 15:16, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
