[edit] Emir214

  • Code letter: F

Emir214 (talk contribs) was an active editor here since May, and was blocked indefinitely in November for offering his account password on his user page (he had previously been blocked for a week for impersonating an admin). Shortly before this, Deogene (talk contribs) began editing the same articles as Emir214 (with a note stating that it was an alternate account), and ended up getting in several disputes with Chacor. These included starting an article against wikiproject consensus, which members of the wikiproject objected to. This led to personal attacks on his user page (which he acknowledged as such). In an effort to work on this article, Deogene violated the GFDL by copying and pasting the contents of Chacor's sandbox article on Typhoon Chebi into his own sandbox (down to the same subpage name). Deogene subsequently blanked his user and user talk pages and apparently left Wikipedia.

However, at some point before then, Men72194 (talk contribs) appeared and started editing in the same pattern as Emir214 and Deogene, including inserting incorrect information into another of Chacor's sandbox articles and working on Development of Windows XP and various Philippine-related articles, which both of the other usernames had worked on. I am suspicious of how the new account found someone else's sandbox so quickly. – Chacor 08:44, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

Confirmed. Essjay (Talk) 03:10, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
