[edit] Proposed remedies

Note: All remedies that refer to a period of time, for example to a ban of X months or a revert parole of Y months, are to run concurrently unless otherwise stated.

[edit] Jason Gastrich banned from certain articles

1) I notice that it is proposed that Jason Gastrich should be banned from editing Louisiana Baptist University and The Skeptic's Annotated Bible. I would suggest including the articles Atheism and Abortion in this ban due to edits like this edit to Atheism and this edit to Abortion. These edits are only part of a large number of edits to those articles by a variety of Gastrich sockpuppets, all of which were extremely POV in nature.

I tend to agree with this. Stifle 22:53, 3 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Jason Gastrich required to use valid edit summaries

6) Jason Gastrich is placed on edit summary parole for six months. He is prohibited from describing changes as "reverting vandalism" or similar verbiage unless the page was very clearly vandalized.

See the edit summaried mentioned above under #1. Stifle 22:56, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
Comment by others:
Given that we're supposed to use valid edit summaries without being told by ArbCom (after the six months is up is he allowed to use invalid edit summaries?), I suggest changing this to "Jason Gastrich is on edit summary parole for six months. He is prohibited... (etc.)" in line with the similar remedies for civility, reverting etc. --Sam Blanning (formerly Malthusian) (talk) 12:50, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
No objections. Stifle 15:11, 8 March 2006 (UTC)
