This is your only warning. Such vandalism that you have done will not be tolerated, and you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia next time.
I do not see any harmful edits from this IP that you keep tagging. If you are trying to make a point on AOL IPs, your account will be blocked indefinitely. Ryūlóng 22:32, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
- This doesn't seem like a harmful edit [1]??? good idea, let's just let people do as much vandalism as they want to--Reporter3623 22:40, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

- Sorry to butt in, but it looks to me like Reporter3623 is just trying to help. I have been watching the IP he has been reporting, and it has remained quiet. Ryulong is also just trying to help (and is a prolific counter-vandal and definitely not a sock puppet). I really don't think any of you three deserve to be blocked at the present time, so can we let it go for now, guys? I'll try to keep tabs on that IP and will help report him/her if more vandal activity occurs. -- Omicronpersei8 (talk) 22:44, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

The vandalism warning page you are adding to is for vandals who have edited in the last few minutes. Those who lasted edited in a few hours ago or more have been dealt with (or have stopped - vandalismis boring and these people move on from it after not too long). Plus, users of AOL and certain other ISPs share internet addresses - by the time we've noticed the vandalism, they've often gone... and left 100 other good editors that we accidentally block instead!
Wikipedia is a wiki - we must remain open to being edited by the maximum number of people. The idiots who vandalise are a fact of life, but the alterntaive to letting them in is stopping being a wiki. We don't want that!
Happy editing! ➨ ЯEDVERS 22:50, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
- giving someone a welcome after they've been indefintly blocked from editing, that's new--Reporter3623 17:44, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
