The 2008 Republican primaries will be the selection process by which the Republicans choose their candidates in the 2008 election for President and Vice President of the United States through a series of primaries and caucuses culminating in the 2008 Republican National Convention, to be held in Saint Paul, Minnesota, from September 1 until September 4.
Republican candidates in the 2008 U.S. presidential election will campaign for the nomination from their party. The early timeline is:
- January 21, 2008 - Iowa caucus
- January 28, 2008 - New Hampshire
- February 5, 2008 - Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Missouri, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Utah, West Virginia (which will nominate a candidate at a state nominating convention)
- February 5, 2008 (unofficial date) - Florida, Michigan
