IMDb profile |
Repossessed was a 1990 comedy film that spoofed The Exorcist.
The film featured the original star of The Exorcist, Linda Blair (at age 31 -- she was 12 in The Exorcist) as well as Leslie Nielsen. Many gags were based around events in The Exorcist, such as the green-vomit and head-spinning scenes.
It was written and directed by Bob Logan.
It had a particularly rapid pace of pop culture references, especially as the movie neared the end, and it still holds a small cult following.
[edit] Trivia
- When Father Mayii is speaking to the class, sitting in the front row dressed in a different outfit, and with her hair done differently and wearing glasses is Linda Blair playing another role in the film.
