Renwick, New Zealand

Renwick is a small town in Marlborough, New Zealand. It is located on State Highway 6, twelve kilometres west of Blenheim.
Formerly called Renwicktown, it is located close to the south bank of the Wairau River. Aside from the prevalent grape growing and wineries around the area, one of Renwick's claims to fame are the Renwick Butcher's Mince Pies. Widely known throughout Marlborough, and to a lesser extent New Zealand, Renwick's mince pies are missed by many ex-pats. Renwick has a variety of shops including a popular dairy, a supermarket, a baker, a butchers, a hairdressers, a tavern and a bar and brewery.
