Rennerod is a town and a municipality in the Westerwaldkreis district, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is situated in the Westerwald, approx. 10 km southeast of Bad Marienberg, and 30 km south of Siegen.

Rennerod is also the seat of the Verbandsgemeinde ("collective municipality") Rennerod, which consists of the following Ortsgemeinden ("local municipalities"):
