Renee Houston was a Music Hall & Revie artist who acted in supporting role in films & TV.

Reneé Houston was born on the 24 July 1902 in Johnstone, Scotland Her actual name was Katherina Houston Gibbin. She performed in Music Halls and reviews with her sister Billie Houston as the Houston Sisters.
In 1926, the sisters made a short musical film, the script of which Reneé had written. It was produced in black & white by Lee de Forest, whose process, Phonofilm, enabled a sound movie to be made, in this case, a year before The Jazz Singer.
Reneé Houston married three times, the second was to Patrick Ahearne, the brother of Brian Aherne. Her third husband was Donald Stewart (actor 1910-1966).
She wrote an autobiographie in 1974 entitled "Don't Fence Me In".
She died in London at he age of 77 on 9 February 1980.
