Renate Götschl (born 6 August 1975) is an Austrian alpine skier. She won two awards at the 2002 Winter Olympics, the bronze medal in downhill and a silver in the combination competition.

Götschl was born in Judenburg.

She made her debut in the Alpine skiing World Cup in 1991. Her first victory in the World Cup arrived on March 14, 1993, in the Slalom of Lillehammer. This was followed by more than 80 podium results, winning at least a race in all the four specialities (Slalom, Giant Slalom, Super-G and Downhill), including an aggregated World Cup in 2000. She won also four downhill (1997, 1999, 2004 and 2005), two combined (2000 and 2002) and two giant slalom (2000 and 2004) world cups.

Götschl has six medals at the Alpine World Skiing Championships, including gold medals in combination (1997) and in downhill (1999).

At Salt Lake City Winter Olympics, in 2002, she won a silver medal in combined and a bronze medal in the downhill.
