Renan Brito Soares or simply Renan (born January 24, 1985, in Viamão, is a Brazilian goalkeeper who plays for Internacional, in Brazilian Serie A. Renan's club career began in 2004 in Internacional, and has twice won the Campeonato Gaúcho and one Libertadores Cup. Also has 62 Under-20 caps for Brazil. Likely to take over from Clemer in 2007 as Internacional no.1.
