The Renaissance Academy is a Charter School (public school) in Los Angeles, California.

The curriculum includes emphasis on both the arts and the sciences. It is currently located at 5431 West 98th Street in Westchester.

The school has generated a great deal of controversy and struggle, mainly due to its fight for reasonable facilities. The most recent in West Los Angeles. Many parties have criticised the school, including the LAUSD, the parent district of the school. However, some of the remaining students continue to adore the school, with many declaring it the greatest educational experience of their young lives. Others believe that this was their only option and they remain for that reason.

Note: This Renaissance Academy, located in Los Angeles, is not to be confused with the Renaissance Academy of La Canada, a K-12 school with a curriculum and philosophy of learning based on the teachings of Scientology creator L. Ron Hubbard.
