René Houseman

René Orlando Houseman (born in La Banda, Santiago del Estero, July 19, 1953) is a retired argentine footballer in a Right Winger role.

In his career he played for Defensores de Belgrano, Huracán, River Plate, Colo Colo (in Chile), Amazulu (in South Africa), Independiente and Excursionistas.

During his international career playing for Argentina, he participated at the 1974 FIFA World Cup, where he scored four goals. His greatest achievement in football was being part of the 1978 FIFA World Cup winning team (he came on as a substitute after 75 minutes in the World Cup Final).
