Remo Vinzens

Remo Vinzens (born December 22, 1975) is an actor

Full-name Remo-Stefan Vinzens was born in East-Switzerland. At the age of 19 he moved to Zurich and attended the drama-school in Zurich and Cologne. He personally dedicated himself to the different dramatic arts, from Lee Strasberg or the working methods of Stella Adler.

2002 After the education he became a member of "Theater Ensemble Rohrbach". He played in stage plays of Bertolt Brecht, Friedrich Schiller and Tennessee Williams and was on tour in Switzerland, Austria and Germany. Guest appearances at theaters in Europe were his further work. In between he recorded a CD called "Integration". In the late 2002, he became a member of the "Swiss stage artist federation".

2003 He went back on stage. He played in "The glass menagerie" Tennessee Williams and as Don Juan De Marco directed by F. Rappert. His performances were extraordinary! In fall 2003, Klaus Maria Brandauer invited him to act and study in Cologne. He became after that a member of the Brandauer Ingenuus Ensemble. Back on the stage, a further guest role in South Germany followed. This time with theatre, comedy and singing.

2004 After his stay in Germany the independent movie Pentagram followed shortly. In the second half year, the movie industry got aware of him. He got offers, but nevertheless he decided for the stage. In the spring of 2004 he accepts the role of "Don Juan" Spanish folklore. Between performances of Don Juan he is already rehearsing on his next role in the world-renowned play "Death of a Salesman" by Arthur Miller.

2005 In summer he played in Italy in Fellinis La Strada directed by Victor Lyder and in a "Don Juan" guest performance in Spain as well. With excerpts from Eugene O'Neill's "A Long Day's Journey into Night" as Edmund was his the last performance in 2005. After the years of theate, he put his focus toward film. Since 2005 Remo Vinzens stays in Los Angeles and Zurich
