Talk:Relaxation technique
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
While cleaning up, I deleted some text and a couple of links. I deleted the two-sentence section "In the media" because media attention to the subject was discussed elsewhere in the text. The links I deleted were to commercial sites that offered relaxation products, but no particular information about techniques. Pastafarian Nights 18:32, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] References rationale
My preference is to list references in the order they appear in the article; that they are currently web-only references first, and in alphabetical order overall is purely coincidental. Pastafarian Nights 00:00, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Deleting Masturbation
I deleted masturbation from the list of techniques. While I'm sure plenty of people do use masturbation to relax, I'd be mighty surprised if it appeared on any other list of relaxation techniques. I think including it makes the article seem less serious, rather than more encyclopedic. If some other source suggests masturbation as a means of relaxation, I think it'd be fine to put it back in, with a citation.--Pastafarian Nights 18:25, 10 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Deleting Labor and Childbirth
I've removed it from the list of techniques - maybe there should be a section on Relaxation technique during Labor and Childbirth (or a seprate article) but it can't be clasified as a relaxation technique. Zabdiel 14:03, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
