Reki (.hack)

Reki is an obvious Wave Master, but without a staff. His avatar resembles somewhat something of a scholar, his first appearance is in the first volume of .hack//Legend of the Twilight (which is sometimes incorrectly named .hack//DUSK). He works as an employee of CC Corperation, working directly for the legendary player (and now administrator) of "The World" Balmung (of the Azure Sky). He often complains to himself about being constantly over-worked, due to the fact that he always ends up finishing what Balmung starts. He sometimes dislikes his boss and (sometimes) wishes that Balmung were fired so he and "The World" players would be happier without him. But deep down, he knows that that would not become true if that ever were to happen (well, it does officially happen in the Anime version). In the last few pages of the final volume of .hack//Legend of the Twilight, he recounts on his first time at CCCorp. and meeting Balmung, coming to the conclusion that all jobs have their ups and downs and that he does enjoy his job... apart from when he's bombarded by a mountain of work! All in all, Reki is almost compleately loyal to Balmung, as Magi is to Kamui, even checking up on him when Balming gets arrested by the CCCorp. Colbalt Knights, due to his "disappointing" actions, going outside the perimeters (duties) of a administrator of CCCorp.
