Reiki Yoga

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Reiki Yoga was founded by Dr. Usui Mikao in the nineteenth century in Japan. It was orally taught to his students and was further carried on by Hayashi Chujurio, finally to be braught to USA by Hawaii Takata. Since then the term 'Reiki', is ambiguously used as a noun as well as a verb (that is for doing the work of Reiki). As a noun Reiki means Universal Life Force Energy and as a verb, it means to channel this energy through the hands or to channel for distant healing for the receipient. And, when the body is retored to health , the mind and the soul of the receipient also get aligned to its natural rhythm. Therefore to name Reiki as Noun is absolutely correct as per the explanation given above, but to name as verb for doing the work of Reiki is not correct. Hence, it is called the 'Reiki-Yoga'. In addition to this, Reiki and Yoga complement to each other so much that it is very appropriate to term 'Reiki-Yoga', instead of simply saying Reiki for doing the work of Reiki.
