Reichenbach an der Fils is a suburban Stuttgart place in the Esslingen district, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is 25 km from Stuttgart via Route 10. There is a station for Filsbahnstrecke Stuttgart - Ulm.

Reichenbach was mentioned for the first time in 1268.

In 1906, it was changed to Reichenbach an der Fils to avoid confusion.

In the early 1990s, the textile mill which had their payments of taxation for buildings like the Brühlhalle or a school. Factories that were closed were Traub. The stadium Hermann-Traub-Stadion was named after this company which is the founder of the stadium which is associated.

Today there small businesses. The larger business are the cardboard manufacturer Seyfert.
