Reichenbach is the largest city in the Vogtlandkreis district, Saxony, Germany.

The place was founded in 1212 as Oberreichenbach. It had a castle which was built in 1240, it received municipal law in 1271. (civitati richenbach possibly already since 1240). In the 17th century, it was the centre or the clothes making.

Reichenbach Vogtland also has a telecommunication tower of Deutsche Telekom, including a FM broadcasting station broadcasting the Vogtlandradio. It is not related with the one in Reichenbach (Oberlausitz) which is at 1,188 kHz.
In 2002, it has a high school, three middle schools and three primary schools.
