This is the talk page for discussing improvements to the Regirock article.

This article claims that Regi is the Japanese word for "king". However, I'm not sure if this is correct, as that isn't the Japanese word that I happen to know for "king".

Alternately, I would think that this comes from Latin, "regis" meaning royal or kingly.

[edit] Android/Robot

I have changed the comments on the description of each of the Regis looking like androids, to robots. I made this choice by the simple fact that the word "android" implies that they somehow look strikingly human. The Regis do not, by any means, look like humans. I know what you mean but the regis are partially humanoid. They have arms, legs, bodies, etc. Whether the regis robot look-a-likes or android look-a-like is something that is often debated over.

If "Regirock's anatomy consists entirely of rocks and stones", then how can it be a "Fictional robot"? (described on the Robot article as an "electro-mechanical device that can perform autonomous or preprogrammed tasks") --Izwzyzx 22:30, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
