[edit] Piece removed from the "United Nations" article
Prominent amongst these are The Hague International Model United Nations (THIMUN) (for secondary school students from many countries, taking place in The Hague each January),Recently THIMUN set up a new affiliate in Singapore; THIMUN-Singapore is meant to cater to participants who wish to have the experience of THIMUN but do not have the resources to do so or are simply not given a space at THIMUN. The National High School Model United Nations (NHSMUN), for secondary/high school students from across the world, held each March at the UN in New York City the American Harvard National Model United Nations (Boston each February), the North American Model United Nations (various United States cities each April), the American Model United Nations (AMUN) (held annually before Thanksgiving in Chicago, Illinois), and the McGill Model United Nations (McMun) (held in Montreal, Canada in late January for university students nationally and internationally). Individual schools and colleges also organize similar events for their own students. Examples include BEIMUN held in Beijing by the International School of Beijing. Many international schools around the world have their own Model United Nations Clubs and these schools can hold Model United Nations conferences of their own.
[edit] Merge
I have added the text from the Delaware Model United Nations article and I will be redirecting it here. aliceinlampyland 23:14, 31 January 2006 (UTC).
[edit] Descriptive Terms
Someone needs to come up with a rational way to evaluate these model UNs. Some claim to be the largest in the world but only have a thousand participants, while several others claim to be the most prestigious. Maybe it would help to list them by attendance or alphabetically and remove the un-verifyable adjectives. 66.98.99.155
[edit] Split into seperate articles?
I think the article has become too long and needs to be split into lists of a) student groups and b) conferences and then sorted by grade level, as now not only collegiate and high school conferences exist, but also middle school. Mystache 23:27, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
- Should there also be a geographic sort? Or would that just get too complicated? Wl219 06:09, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

- Geographic sort would be nice, but i think noting the location in the entry would suffice. Mystache 14:07, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] MUN International
Does anyone know what MUN International is? If so, then it should be incorporated either into this article or into the general Model United Nations article, as appropriate.
