[edit] Requested move

  • Regent grape → Regent (grape) – Article name is inconsistent with other grape variety articles — Ryandaum 01:52, 11 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Voting

Add *Support or *Oppose followed by an optional one-sentence explanation, then sign your vote with ~~~~
  • Support per my comment below, almost all that require disambiguation use (grape) in the article's title --Lox (t,c) 10:25, 11 January 2006 (UTC)
  • Oppose - I think (for instance) "Table (grape)" nonsensical, as if it would be about disambiguation of several types of "tables" --Francis Schonken 08:15, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
I'm not sure I follow your vote — "(grape)" would be to distinguish the grape from the Table (database), Table (furniture), Table (information), Table (jewelery) (not currently an article) and Table (verb), as Table shows! --Lox (t,c) 10:21, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
  • Oppose Some grapes naturally include the explicit "grape" in their name, even if many in Category:Grape varieties do not. Concord grape is exemplary of this, as Concord grapes are never referred to as "Concords"; grape is always included. All of these other grapes yield Google results with the explicit grape inclusion, and some like Table grape seem to be referred to exclusively as such, along with Concord grapes. In any case I much prefer the natural adjective disambiguation over appending "(grape)" to the end.—jiy (talk) 00:24, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
