Registration, Admission and Status

H.323 Gatekeepers communicate through the RAS channel using different types of RAS messages. These messages types include the following:

  • Gatekeeper discover
  • Terminal/gateway registration
  • Terminal/gateway unregistration
  • Location request
  • Call admission
  • Bandwidth change
  • Disengage
  • Status queries
