Regional Science High School (RSHS) are a series of public secondary science schools in the Philippines, established during the 1994-1995 school year. It is operated and supervised by the Department of Education, with a curriculum heavily focusing on math and science.

There are 16 RSHS campuses ( one campus per region) nationwide.
Some of its campuses have already been established before RSHS is established in 1994:

- Cavite Provincial Science High School (RSHS for Region IV)-est.1980
- Aklan Science Development High School (RSHS for Region VI)-est. 1980
- Ramon Teves Pastor Memorial Science High School/Dumaguete Science High School (RSHS for Region VII))
- Eastern Visayas Science High School (RSHS for Region VIII)
- Alabel National Science High School (RSHS for Region XII)
[edit] Admission
Students who belong to the upper 10% of the Grade VI graduating class and who have been recommended by their respective principals are qualified to take the entrance examination.
Selection will be done in three stages and is conducted by the school. The first stage is the administration of standardized mental ability and aptitude test. The student applicant must belong to the 40 percent of the first stage of examination in order to advance to the second stage.
The second stage is the proficiency test in Science, English, and Mathematics. The stage qualifier should obtain at least 75 percent proficiency level in order to advance to the last stage of the selection process.
The last stage is the interview of the student and parents. It would be conducted by the RSHS screening committee. The interview shall be rated in accordance with a prepared rubric and shall be an integral part of the score obtained by the student.
[edit] Curriculum
The school offers a high school curriculum that is focused on science, technology, and mathematics. Computer science subjects are offered to all year levels. Research is given during the second, third and fourth year levels. Earth Science is studied during the first year, while biology is tackled during second and third years. Physics is taken up during the third and fourth years. Chemistry is studied during the third and fourth years. Algebra, geometry,trigonometry, calculus with analytic geometry are studied during the first, second, third, and fourth years, respectively.Statistics is studied during the second year as part of the second-year research course and as a separate course during third year and fourth year. As part of requirements for third and fourth-year research courses, students have to produce research papers and project proposals, which they have the option to submit to local science fairs.
