The article says that its topic "is a Supreme Court of Canada reference...." What is a "reference"? The word seems to be used in some technical legal sense (perhaps specific to Canadian law?) that is not clear to me, and probably not clear to many others as well. --Trovatore 20:53, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
