Reflections Cabaret

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Reflections Cabaret & Cigar Bar is one of the most popular dance bars in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. For eight years running (to 2004), Reflections was voted the best place to dance by readers of The Coast. The bar has gone through many changes over the years. Reflections was, and still is known as a gay bar, but now officially calls itself a "No Labels" bar, welcoming gay and heterosexual clients alike

Reflections offers a weekly calendar of events, including Rockin'4 Dollars on Mondays, Five Minutes of Fame hosted by LuLu LaRude, guest DJ nights with local favourites such as Sonny D and DJ Electro, and the immensely popular Squirt Saturdaze with resident DJ Hedfones. They also hold special events during Halifax's annual Pride Week in July.

Reflections Cabaret hosts local drag queens, including LuLu LaRude, Lucy Lovecock, April Showers, Katya Wakinoff, Farrah Moan and Eureka Love.

Each year Reflections hosts three pageants: Mz.Reflections, Queen of Hearts and Mz. Gay Halifax.
