I'm an Australian who emigrated to the United Kingdom in 2003. I live with my husband in Walthamstow, London. I love the architecture and history of this country, especially of the Georgian era.
My other interests include archaeology, especially industrial, particularly of the steam era; British wildlife and plants; and movies and the history of Film.
I am largely housebound due to chronic illness which was diagnosed as Fibromyalgia in 2004.
As someone who believes in the Internet's power to disseminate information, I was fascinated to find that there was an open source encyclopaedia on it, and very keen to get involved.
