Talk:Red State Diaries

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Is this show actually a spinoff of the Daily Show? Or is it a Comedy Central show that just happens to have Lewis Black in it?

it's political, he was on the daily show (for longer than Stewart I might add) so, close enuff. __________________ I'd also suggest that maybe we'll need to see who the executive producers are. If there is overflow or overlap from The Daily Show, I'd say it's fair to call it a spin-off. If not I'd say it's just Lewis Black getting his own show.

Haven't heard any developments on this in months. Anybody heard anything? The year is half over now.

(08/12/06) - I've heard that it was planned for Fall 2006 ever since it was announced back in 2005. Fall seems to be the time when most stations test out pilots for new shows, so this seems about right. But you'd think by now COmedy Central would be airing commercials for this, as well as their other pilots (Gay Robot, Not Another High School Show, etc).
