[edit] Why "Red Eye(drug)" is an incorrect article name

This article has been merged from Red Eye(drug) because, as was first said on User talk:Tarnas#Red Eye (drug), leaving out a space before a parenthetical like "(drug)" in "Red Eye(drug)" is so clearly wrong that it doesn't seem to have a stated policy. Please see Wikipedia:Naming conventions... even though there's no stated policy, it's apparent that using a space is the standard: there are dozens of articles that follow the spacing usage I'm talking about (that is, "Red Eye (drug)") listed on this page alone and not a single one following the "Red Eye(drug)" format. I'm sure I don't need to spell it out any more, but here's a handful of examples:

There are tens of thousands more article titles with spacing like this, and very few without this spacing: this is why the lack of a space is "wrong", and the correct article should be (and is) named "Red Eye (drug)". —Tarnas 06:37, 22 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Premier

I once heard (possibly on a ML online) that the first episode of Cowboy Bebop, the one that included Red Eye, was banned from public tv because the drug use (ie, Red Eye) was too explicit. Is this true? If it is, it should probably be added. --Maru (talk) 04:22, 5 October 2005 (UTC)

Considering I saw this episode on Cartoon Network I wouldn't say it was banned. At least not permanently. There is a list of episodes which were banned at one point on the main CB page. --Jeiki Rebirth 23:08, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
Ah, I should have been clearer- I meant banned from public television in Japan, not cable in America. --maru (talk) contribs 03:54, 3 February 2006 (UTC)

It is implied in the series that "Red Eye" is just one of a number of eye-spray based drugs, "Red Eye" simply being the latest and a particularly potent example.
