Talk:Red Book (Liberal Party of Canada)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I am guessing that the nickname also refers to Quotations From Chairman Mao Tse-Tung, which has the nickname "Little Red Book". Lisa Paul 03:35, 16 August 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Lack of electronic copies
The link to the electronic copies of the text go to Libscam, a website which in its home page declares that "This wiki is meant to be a repository of misdeeds, suspect behaviour, and outright scandals perpetrated by the Liberal Party of Canada." Thus, the copies presented there should be considered doctored, and not factual.
Additionally, they may be violating copyright. If copies are available online, they should only link to sites which the copyright holder has given permission to post. 164.106.241.97 15:29, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
- Agreed. Do you known of any better copies online? - SimonP 15:39, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
- I'm not sure if the text is copyright, but I doubt it's been doctored in any way. I own a copy of the 1997 Red Book and though I didn't search through the PDF files word-for-word, they seem to me to be faithful scans of the original. Were you actually able to find any instances of forgery?
