As I recall, does not Demon's Crest take place in conquered Earth?

It did not call it Earth, just "The Human Realm" or sometimes "Demon Realm" for some odd reason. It's always been inconsistent, though in GQ2, Firebrand flies towards the human realm at the end of the game however he got shot down by the Phalanx in the Demon's Crest intro, perhaps landing him on the Demon Realm.
