Redrum Drum Computer

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Redrum, a device within Propellerhead's Reason, is a step-sequencer drum machine. The device has ten channels which can each hold one sample of WAV, AIFF or SoundFont filetype of any length, sample rate or bit depth. One can also load individual sample slices from REX2 files created in ReCycle. One can use the built-in pattern sequencer of the device to create drum loops, or draw drum hits with the Reason sequencer. One can also wire drum channels to other devices in Reason. For instance you can create a sound using the SubTractor Analog Synthesizer, and link it to a Redrum channel letting you play the Subtractor using the drum computer.
