Rediff.com India, NASDAQ: REDF is a popular news, information, entertainment, and shopping portal. It was founded in 1996 and is headquartered in Mumbai, India with offices in New Delhi and New York, USA.

As per Alexa rating [1], Rediff is the No. 1 Indian web portal. It is the only India-based website to appear in first 100 websites. It has more than 250 employees. Rediff.com also offers the Indian American community one of the oldest and largest Indian weekly newspaper, India Abroad, which it acquired in 2001.

  • Rediff Mail: Web based e-mail which has around 43 million online users.[2] This is sizable volume compared to total indian netizen volume of 60 million.[3] It offers 1GB free space. Rediffplus premium service users get 2 GB of storage space. Rediff recently launched AJAX based mail interface.
  • Rediff Bol: instant messenger with support for Hindi language[4]
