Redcliff, Zimbabwe
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Redcliff is a town situated in the province of Midlands, Zimbabwe, with a population of approximately 35,000. The town is about 220km south west of the capital, Harare.
The town sits in an extremely iron-rich area and has relied on steel production as a source of revenue since it was founded in the early part of the last century. The Zimbabwe Iron and Steel Company (ZISCO, formally RISCO), which is based in Redcliff, is the town's largest employer.
As with other parts of Zimbabwe, the towns infrastructure has decayed to the point where facilities are unusable.
