Church returns to the Blue Base, where the Alien Baby, to which a now-comatose Tucker has given birth, is wreaking havoc off-screen. Doc informs Church that the baby has drunk half a gallon of blood from Caboose after the latter was given a snack in exchange. After Caboose complains of dizziness and collapses, Church and Doc argue about the situation until a spaceship crashes into the gulch on top of Donut; Church leaves to investigate. The Reds bicker about rescue plans until Sarge leaves to retrieve a "levitation ray" from the Red Base, taking their jack and shovels with him. Church arrives and claims the ship with the word 'dibs' and threatens the Reds with the Blue Team's tank, Sheila.
[edit] Episode 79
As Church argues with Simmons and Grif over possession of the ship, a tapping noise begins to sound from the the ship. After Sarge returns without the "levitation ray", Sheila abruptly leaves. The Reds aim their weapons at Church, forcing him to retreat. Returning to the base, he finds that Doc has taken the Alien Baby for a walk, Tucker remains comatose, and Caboose still lies on the floor.[1] Meanwhile, the Reds attempt to enrage Donut to invigorate him sufficiently to raise the ship from underneath.

Church's attempt to contact Vic fails when an answering machine with a long automated message handles his call. Meanwhile, without having rescued Donut, the Reds are becoming irritated by the tapping noise that continues from the previous episode. After the Reds begin to quit their rescue attempts, the back door of the ship opens, and an unseen entity emerges from the ship as the episode fades to black.

- Length: 4′ 50″
- Release date: October 27, 2006 (sponsors), October 30, 2006 (public)
Church finally reaches the end of the automated prompts and proceeds to leave a message to Vic. However, he is interrupted by another message stating that Vic's mailbox is full. Furious, he explains to Doc about the dire situation, due to half the team being down and the arrival of the dropship. Church guesses that the dropship may hold reinforcements or a freelancer. The scene shifts to the Red team talking to the "reinforcement", who in fact is Grif's sister. Surprised and annoyed at his sister's arrival, Grif asks her how she ended up in the future. Simmons asks Grif's sister if she used the ship's hyperdrive or light drive to get into the canyon in the future. Her lack of understanding about hyperdrive leads Simmons to believe that she used the latter, which caused her and the ship to move forward in time as it was traveling to Blood Gulch. Grif realizes that his sister was the one tapping from the earlier episode, and starts to wonder where Donut went. The scene shifts to an underground cave; Donut's and Sarge's voices from the end of episode 77 can be heard above, shortly before the dropship crashes, after which Donut falls down into the cave.

As Caboose attempts to find the new Red soldier using the sniper rifle, Church speculates as to what combat skills the reinforcement may have. Though Church becomes frustrated as Caboose adds poor ideas to the discussion, Tucker wakes from his coma and joins them. While briefly explaining the situation, Tucker immediately identifies the new soldier as a girl, despite standing hundreds of feet away. Meanwhile, Grif's sister explains to the Reds that, under the impression that the Blood Gulch Commanding Officer has died, Command has promoted a replacement and sent her to fill the new low-level opening. While Simmons presses to discover who has been promoted, Grif mocks Sarge's reliance on Command for information and enjoys it further when the Reds hold an impromptu funeral for Sarge.

Church introduces Tucker to the Alien Baby, and the Blues discuss what to do with it. Meanwhile, Simmons, trying to take command of the Red Team, tries to order the others to run laps. Neither comply; instead, Grif argues that Simmons is not really in charge. When Simmons asked what Sarge supposedly died of, Grif's sister reveals that it was an aspirin-overdose according to Command. It is revealed she is color-blind, and that the "Blue guys" really sent her, not the Red command. Simmons rushes to dig Sarge from his grave. Underground, Donut wakes up and finds himself in the cavern. He sees two stationary suits of armor, one cobalt and one black, and decides to wait awhile until the people within them awaken.

Grif initially wants to lie that they are the Blues, but decides to rid the team of her before Sarge discovers the circumstances. Meanwhile, Doc examines Sheila, who, according to Church, has been acting strangely and saying "random threatening things". Grif confronts the Blues and convinces them to take his sister. Simmons appears and exclaims that Sarge has disappeared from his grave and that they need Grif's sister for leverage.
[edit] Notes
- ^ In this conversation, Church mentions to Caboose that it has been "like an hour" since the Alien Baby has been born.
