Red FM is an Irish radio station which broadcasts to Cork and the surrounding area, and is aimed at a youth audience.
Corks RedFM commenced broadcasting at 8am on January 16th 2002, very quickly establishing itself as part of daily life amongst young Cork people. In its three years on air Corks RedFM has picked up 6 prestigious PPI (Phonographic Performance Ireland) National Radio awards. In March 2003 RedFM was awarded a Guinness Radio Advertising award for its creative work.

Red FM was founded by some of the people from "Longwave, Atlantic 252" after it stopped broadcasting on Thursday December 20, 2001.
