"Red Barchetta" is a song by the progressive rock band Rush off of their album Moving Pictures. The song speaks about a man who, every Sunday, goes to his uncle's house to drive a red Barchetta that he has saved for him. On one particular drive he is caught by two police cruisers ("alloy air cars"); eventually he loses them by driving over a one-lane bridge, and then returns to his uncle's. Many fans and critics consider it one of Rush's best songs and it is included on many of their compilation albums.
