Red Bank is one of 20 New Jersey Transit commuter rail stations on the North Jersey Coast Line. It is located on Bridge Ave. between Monmouth and Oakland Streets.

Beginning in August 2005, New Jersey Transit began a year-long construction project to improve the station. This will include new high level platforms. As of February 2006 the new inbound platform (to Newark/New York) has been completed. The outbound platform (to Bayhead) is expected to be completed in May 2006.
