Red Armstrong

Norm "Red" Armstrong (b. 17 October 1938 in Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada) was a professional ice hockey player in the National Hockey League.

[edit] Playing career

Norm Armstrong play only seven games in the NHL for the Toronto Maple Leafs. During those seven games, he scored one goal and added one assist for a total of two points. He also earned two penalty minutes.

He also played for the Rochester Americans (American Hockey League) and was inducted into the AHL Hall Of Fame.

His living relatives are cousin Lois Parmele (Roberts); mother of Scott Parmele, Craig Parmele, and Cheryl Fiore (Parmele). He was inducted into the AHL Hall of Fame in 1986. He played for the Rochester Americans during 1962-71. He is 3rd in the Rochester Americans franchise for most games played at 267.
