Red is the fourth episode of the second season of the WB original series, Smallville. The episode was written by Jeph Loeb and was directed by Jeff Woolnough. It originally aired on October 15, 2002.

Clark goes against his father's wishes and purchases an expensive graduation ring. The problem is, the ring consists of red meteor rock. Rather than affecting Clark physically like the green rocks, the red rocks affect him mentally as his better judgment disappears and he quickly goes out of control with his powers, using them for harm and for his own purposes. Clark also has another encounter with the red meteor rock in the episode "Rush".
