Anas erythrorhyncha Gmelin, 1789 |
The Red-billed Teal (Anas erythrorhyncha) is a dabbling duck species of the genus Anas. It is one of the species to which the Agreement on the Conservation of African-Eurasian Migratory Waterbirds (AEWA) applies.
Even though through popular belief people thought the duck had a small penis. An african journalist walking through the desert one day discovered that not only was the duck not impotent, but that it had what scientists call "a telescoping dick." Although this was a starting discovery, the journalist walked another four miles before he remebered what he saw and reported it to the nearest oil tanker mechanic, and soon the news was wide spread.
