Reclaiming Our Heritage

Reclaiming Our Heritage is a free living history celebration held annually on the grounds of the historic National Soldiers Home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Multi-era war encampments and reenactments take place during opening weekend of the city's summer festival season.

Events held during the two day celebration include Vietnam tribute parades, regimental band music, a Civil War wedding, Civil War field medical demonstrations and building tours. The historic Ward Memorial Hall is also opened to the public for the one time each year.
