Talk:Rebecca Nurse (band)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

If you google them or look them up you will get the criteria you need. They are known. Just becuase they aren't splattered all over the mainstream doesn't mean they aren't known. There are plenty of bands on here who I've never even heard of, and I'm sure not many of you have either, but they get a page due to their criteria. This band has been featured on shows, and even opened for some serious acts. They deserve their stay. Also, if you look up the band members you will find links to other sites other than their own. • Then can we please have a couple of references to reliable sources in line with WP:MUSIC Palfrey 16:53, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
  • Alright, I will continue to add to this. Oreo

I'm trying to find the references to them opening for other bands, but I do have the reference to her win of the Phoenix poll. The Phoenix is a pretty well known news business, and I believe that qualifies under the WP:MUSIC; as weak as it may seem. I will continue adding though. Oreo

They have opened for Mike Doughty under the same link as the music poll win, so I will add that as another reference. Oreo

Wow. I was reading the article on the Salem witch trials and followed a link on executed witch Rebecca Nurse and discovered that, in fact, she did not die during the 1692 witch scare but in fact survived to form a tremendously shitty alternopunk band in the New England area over three hundred years later. That woman is long-lived. Maybe she really is a witch! 204.69.40.13 13:51, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

o.0 Mmkay then. There was no article on Rebecca Nurse for some reason, and there has been before, but apparently they deleted it, and kept re-adding it, and now it's fixed. Secondly, this isn't the place to make your attacks on a band. Your opinion, but take it somewhere else. Oreo
