[edit] Moved from article to discussion page

The following were removed (revision as of 16:19, 27 February 2006) from the Rebecca Cummings article since they are better suited for the Discussion page.

[edit] A Note From a Storm Lake Native

This article is most likey SPAM. There was never a k-12 school in Storm Lake, IA. Secondly, 36 years ago Storm Lake was MUCH bigger than population of 90. (Revision as of 22:52, 20 February 2006 by 12.216.12.133)

[edit] A Note From a Fan

She was born in Storm Lake, but grew up in an unmentioned nearby town. Rebecca is a real person I have met at several bachelor parties in the Cedar Falls/Waterloo area during the 90's. MMMMMM... Good Times... "Sweet Dreams are made of these." (Revision as of 19:03, 21 February 2006 by 63.230.60.248)

Time lag posting here is due to I never thought about posting them for possible further discussion HT Productions 21:06, 14 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] From User_talk:HeartThrobs - Image Delete

Had to delete the image you added to your own article Rebecca, images with extremely visible watermarks are against wikipedia standards. Please feel free to contribute another without the extremely large watermark to your article Rebecca Cummings, but be aware of our policy on autobiographies. Thanks!  ALKIVAR 10:19, 7 March 2006 (UTC)

Alkivar, Sorry about the image. I've been reading the guidlines on images. Is it okay if I contact you when I post a new picture to make sure it is up to standards?

I am not Rebecca and not even of the female species. If you would like voice confirmation I can provide you with a telephone number. Myke HT Productions 20:13, 8 March 2006 (UTC)

No need to have me call you... I just assumed you were rebecca since 90% of your edits were on her page, and your from the same company.  ALKIVAR 03:05, 9 March 2006 (UTC)

To clarify for anyone else who reads this - I am a co-owner with Rebecca. I do most of the behind the scenes work for the company. HT Productions 05:12, 13 March 2006 (UTC)

Alkivar,

I added a new picture to Rebecca Cummings. Can you take a look at it to make sure it meets all standards?

Thanks In Advance!

[edit] From User_talk:Joe_Beaudoin_Jr. - Citing References and Sources

[edit] Rebecca Cummings

Joe, I need your help in the proper way to cite Rebecca Cummings' height. The information came from talking directly with Rebecca. --HeartThrobs 18:24, 23 May 2006 (UTC)

Well, despite the information coming from the source herself, this would constitute as original research, which is frowned up on by Wikipedia. If there is an interview, however, that we can cite, then that'd be acceptable. -- Joe Beaudoin Jr. Think out loud 23:00, 23 May 2006 (UTC)

Joe, Thanks for the original research information. So if I understand it right the article should look more like the Jimbo Wales article and not like the Jenna Jameson, President Ronald Reagan, John Wayne or Vatican Library articles that do not have references for most (if any) of the information in the articles?

Rebecca reminded me that most of the information is available on her website. Information is also in her, agency promotional (publicity) package, in an interview she did on PervertRadio.com and articles in the GLBT newspaper, Accessline. Some of the information is repeated in more then just one of the above places. The things that are not on her website, in the agency promotional package, PervertRadio interview or AccessLine articles that are in the Wikipedia article are her birthdate, specific city she was born in and her Danish heritage.

I have changed the External Links section to References section. I would have added the booking agency website but I did not want it to look like advertising and have to hear from another editor. If you think it is okay I will add it to the References section.

Thanks for your help!--HeartThrobs 06:38, 24 May 2006 (UTC)

Great! What is the URL for the modeling agency? -- Joe Beaudoin Jr. Think out loud 17:38, 24 May 2006 (UTC)

Joe, After reading more about Wikipedia I've decided not to list the agency website, 3192361701.com. My decision on this is because I can see it as causing controversy due to it only being the contact to get Rebecca's promo pack and it can be requested through Rebecca.

Are the articles I mentioned previously good examples of what an article needs to look like or not look like when citing sources? I added the Pervert Radio interview and need your help on what more I need to do to the article to get it up to standards? Do I just need to remove some information?

Thanks for your help! --HeartThrobs 18:51, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

Generally, yes. Obviously, the Jenna Jameson article should be cited better than it has, though all the information (in so far as I am able to tell) is accurate. -- Joe Beaudoin Jr. Think out loud 16:33, 26 May 2006 (UTC)

Joe, Other then adding the Pervert Radio interview link and changing the External Links to the Reference section to more accurately reflect that the links are where the information can be found what else needs to be done to get the banner removed? Thanks for your patience and help! --HeartThrobs 20:52, 26 May 2006 (UTC)

Joe, Information has been removed from the article and should meet the MoS standards. Thanks for your help. --HeartThrobs 07:34, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

Joe, Is there anything else that needs to be done to get the banner removed? --HeartThrobs 18:54, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

I'll have to look over it, but if it's OK, I'll remove the banner. Thank you for your efforts! -- Joe Beaudoin Jr. Think out loud 19:19, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

Joe, If it's not up to the MoS after you look at it can you leave a message here on what's not up to the MoS. Thanks for your help! --HeartThrobs 21:49, 6 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Facts and Cites

It would help a lot if someone could supply the name of the LGBT organization that she was president of, and provide a cite for it (Her website wouldn't qualify). I scanned with Google but didn't find anything specific. Without some stronger info and good cites to back it up, this article will likely be deleted. --Doc Tropics Message in a bottle 18:34, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for adding that. Maybe it will help at the AfD. --Doc Tropics Message in a bottle 21:25, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
