Rebekah Elmaloglou

Rebekah Elmagolou (born January 23, 1974) is an Australian actress who is best known for portraying the role of Sophie Simpson on the long-running Australian soap opera Home and Away from 1989 to 2006. Interestingly, her brothers, Peter Elmagolou, Dominic Elmagolou and Sebastian Elmaloglou have appeared on Home and Away (Dominic played Sebastian Harrison in 1996). Sebastian Elmaloglou is well-known for portraying the role of Max Sutherland from 2002 to 2004.

Rebekah trained at the Lynda Keane Studios where she studied acting, singing and dancing. She has appeared in numerous roles in various programmes and films such as A Country Practice, Mad Max III, Princess Kate. Since leaving Home and Away, Rebekah has appeared in the Australian film The Sum of Us and guest starred in A Country Practice as Christine Agapitos. She appeared on the stage at the Sydney Opera House in Caravan.
