[edit] Rebecca Romero
Rebecca Romero (born on 24 January 1980) is a British Athlete who won a Silver medal at the Athens 2004 Olympics in the Womens Quad Sculls. The following year she was part of the British crew that won the World Championships in the Quad Sculls in Gifu, Japan.
In 2006 however Rebecca decided to retire from rowing and seek a new dream. That dream was to win a second Olympic medal in a different sport. The sport she has chosen in which to live her dream is cycling. This would put her into a very elite group of athletes who have won Olympic medals in two different sports.
