1969 FBI memo summarizing a meeting with Ronald Reagan's Legal Affairs Secretary, Herbert Ellingwood. Reagan and Hoover (with CIA Director John McCone's and UC Regent Edwin Pauley's encouragement) were attempting to purge the UC Berkeley of "New Left and Extremist Movements."
