RCTV's second logo was introduced sometime in the 1970s. It is somewhat similar to the first logo except that the logo is more rectangular shaped and the word "TelevisiĆ³n" is no longer written in cursive. Color was added to this logo when RCTV began their color transmissions.

[edit] Third RCTV logo

In November 1996, RCTV officially introduced its current logo. Like RCTV's first logo, it has an oval shape, but note that the coat of arms and the cursive letterings have been removed. Four blue spheres are placed at the bottom of the logo; the first one from the left has the letter R written on it (for Radio), the second one has the letter C written on it (for Caracas), the third one has the letter T written on it (for Tele), and the fourth one has the letter V written on it (for Vision). In early 1999, these four spheres were removed, but were added back on in December of that same year.
